A California man is the first of hundreds of plaintiffs to see his day in court with Monsanto. The lawsuit alleges that the company's weed killing product Roundup gave him cancer, reports MNN. DeWayne Johnson worked as a groundskeeper for a California school district from 2012 to 2015. He repeatedly sprayed Roundup on school properties. Before his job he was perfectly healthy, but in 2014 2014, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. By January 2018, Johnson's body was 80 percent covered in lesions. The lawsuit alleges that Monsanto was aware of the medical risks of Roundup but covered them up.
